Terms of Service

Any transactions with Parrots for Parties are governed by the following terms of service. If you the Client do not agree to the following terms do not make a reservation or payment of any kind.

Parrots for Parties is a talent and entertainment production company. We provide non exclusive representation for entertainers of every type that provide pirate and tropical themed live entertainment. Parrots for Parties is not a Animal rental establishment. We represent many entertainers some of which perform parrot shows or animal trainers as well as look alikes, pirate characters, live bands, sword fighting shows and many other acts.

Parrots for Parties does not offer the services of any character that is a trademark of any other company. Any similarity is not intended to imply that we offer any trademarked character for any service. By utilizing the services of Parrots for parties or its assigns the Buyer agrees and attests that no trademarked characters are offered or provided or being requested. Buyer therefore fully understands that they are not seeking or purchasing the services of any trademarked restricted character from Parrots for Parties or any contractors, employees, agents or assigns.

Parrots4parties takes bookings over the telephone and also signed contract bookings based on the following mutual terms of understanding for every booking we make to reserve a day and time for an event and every service we provide:

Telephone bookings shall serve as a binding contract governed by the terms of service contained herein to book a performance for an event. An event of $1000.00 or more will require our signed contract.

A telephone booking is considered confirmed when we are provided the event location address and date and time of the proposed event and enter this information into our scheduling calender. We don't consider an event confirmed until we have the address of the event physically entered into the calender.

Cancelled event bookings that have been confirmed will be issued a refund of any deposit made, except for any event bookings which are cancelled by the client within four days of the event are subject to a 20% cancellation fee and a 50% cancellation fee if the cancellation is made within 48 hours of the day of the scheduled event. The client agrees to pay 100% of the performance fee if the event or performance is cancelled by the client on the day of the event for any reason.

If a customer fails to cancel a booking and the entertainer appears at an event which was cancelled without notice, the customer is liable for the full amount of the booking, and agrees to pay this amount on demand.

Payment is due prior to the time the services are scheduled to conclude in the form of cash.

In the unlikely event that Parrots for Parties or its employees, subcontractors, or agents is unable to perform due to an Act of God or any condition beyond the reasonable control of Parrots for Parties, CLIENT shall only be obligated to pay Parrots for Parties for any services that have been rendered and any expenses incurred through the date of cancellation.

If hiring an animal act or parrot show CLIENT shall be contacted by the animal trainer or parrot show after the booking to discuss details.

Parrots for Parties will not provide any animal act or parrot shows to any CLIENT residing in a county of municipality that requires a permit for a parrot exhibition or animal exhibition.

If the county or governing municipality allows animal exhibitions or parrot shows without an exhibition permit or a per event permit is issued to the CLIENT, Parrots for Parties may provide the animal act but the CLIENT shall be responsible for any permits required for any kind of exhibition of animals where any permit is required by city or county. Check with you local county and city authorities for any parties that feature animals of any kind. The animal trainer once booked will assist the CLIENT with obtaining permits and inspections if required.

CLIENT agrees to indemnify and hold Parrots for Parties and its owners, employees, sub contractors, or agents harmless from any loss, damages or fees that the Client has incurred and/or from any third party, and any other costs or expenses associated with a cancelled performance for any reason by either party or the cancellation of the event.

In the event Parrots for Parties is unable to perform its work because of CLIENT’S nonperformance of its obligations on the day of the event, or if an exhibitiion permit is denied by city or county officials for any reason on the day of the event, the CLIENT shall pay the TOTAL for the performance.

Returned checks are subject to a return fee of three times the amount by which the check writer agrees to abide and pay upon demand in such an event.

If any animals or parrot shows are provided shade must be provided for the parrots or animals to be staged under, and water if requested.

 If the temperature in the area of the event reaches or exceeds 95 degrees Farenheit the trainer at the event may stop the performance or display of parrots, if this occurs, the CLIENT is required to pay the full amount for the booking.

No dogs allowed in the area of the event, CLIENT shall remove any that come into the area.

CLIENT will supply hand sanitizer as needed at the event for any attendees that come in contact with any animals booked for the event, and other animals at the location if any.

A clear solid access path 33" wide minimum must be provided to the staging area.

The customer indemnifys and holds harmless, the owners of this site, Parrots4Parties, and employees, subcontractors, agents, or assigns from any claim, or lawsuit or cause of action for any reason related to the actions or inaction of the owners of this site, Parrots4Parties, or its employees, subcontractors, or assigns.

Client agrees to require parents to take responsibility for the children at all times and to supervize children that are in the presense of the parrots and holding the parrots and also when holding any kind of sword.

The customer shall provide adequate security at the location to prevent access to the event by unauthorized persons and any type of theft of pilferage.

The customer shall be financially liable for any losses caused as a direct result of theft or pilferage that would occur to Parrots for Parties and assigns at the event.

The owner of this site reserves the right to make substitutions of a comparable service if changes are required due to acts of force majuer, over booking a date, or any unforseen event  or actions which affect the operations of Parrots for Parties or its ability to provide a service.

Secure Parking must be provided off the street if the area is a high traffic area or on the street if a low traffic suburb area adjacent to the location.

A Superior Court in Southern California shall have sole jurisdiction over any disputes, complaints, suits, causes of action or mediation any kind regarding any matter of any kind pertaining to the owners of this site and Parrots4Parties, and or its assigns.

Buyers and persons or entities making bookings by telephone or email or any other form are agreeing to these terms and all Clients that provide name, address and phone number represent that they have read these terms and agree to be bound by these terms.
